Group takes on Jacewon and his “Evolution” project
Motivo Music Group would like to publicly welcome Jacewon and congratulate
him on his current and future success with Motivo Music Group. Jacewon is an
independent Hip Hop artist taking Hip Hop music to new forms – Motivo Music
is helping him get there. Born in Illinois and residing in Southern
California he has built a strong following with his “Indie”-minded Hip Hop.
After working in various groups and situations ranging from his old
collaborators “The Def Poets Society” to acts such as Oddisee, Snowman (Jack
Sample Pros) Freddie Joachim, Choice37 and others, he has been in the studio
crafting something of a departure, to the style that his fans have come to
know him for. Entitled “Evolution,” his debut for Poetry In Motion
Recordings plays like a swan song to jazz and blues, two genres that both
Jace and his producer, B-Side gain inspiration from. Inspired by a wide
spectrum of artists, which include Nas, Bob Dylan, Donovan, Pharaoh Monche,
and others, Jacewon is bridging the gap and paying his respect. Breathing
life into a genre he considers to be “on the ropes” showing you the roots of
the tree as he plants his own seeds. More than an MC, he is an artists who
is truly being real and serious about doing it: not the glamorized, MTV/BET
vision of “real” that you see in many acts today. Together Motivo Music

Cinco Santos meets Motivo Music Group
Motivo Music Group branches out to the Spanish rock market with Cinco
Santos. Cinco Santos is 5 guys with one vibe. Cinco Santos lead by Lorenzo
Montero (writer, guitar player and vocalist) and Willie Lozano (lead guitar)
began its journey in 2002 and just recently signed with Motivo Music Group.
A Latin gypsy rock band comprised of a sweet and unique blend of guitars,
percussion, Rock and substance lyrics, Cinco Santos transcends genre. They
have been reaching the hearts and souls of its fans since its conception and
since joining Motivo Music Group have really exceeded previous expectations.
Motivo Music Group has assisted Santos in achieving 2 major corporate
sponsorships, and physical distribution in addition to the revamping of
their website and Myspace page. Currently Motivo Music Group is revamping
their image to promote and sell their new upcoming album entitled “Duplicad.”
